In just a year, TORRENT have cemented themselves as “next up” in Toronto’s eclectic music scene. Similar to the post-punk bands of Europe like Idles & Squid, this outfit blends the raw energy & dissonance of punk with the danceable, catchy grooves of funk & disco. TORRENT creates a tapestry of sounds with glitchy synths, silky guitars, and unrelenting rhythms.
